Retail Bank Lending in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic and Sanctions Restrictions: Features of the Russian Far East

In the context of pandemic new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and aggravation sanctions burden caused by special military operation Russian Federation in territories Ukraine, Donetsk People’s Republic Lugansk Republic, household lending was at particular risk. The article examines dynamics structure to individuals for 2015–2022 both Russia as a whole on example large macroregion, which is Far East. To identify statistical patterns, general scientific methods based official statistics published Bank were used. It shown that East, well country whole, segments retail (mortgage consumer loans) reacted negatively «pandemic» crisis 2020 (April) «sanctions» 2022 (March – April), but severity reaction different. main factor decline April fall lending, same explained 100% March 2022, 90% mortgage housing lending.
